Who are you?
Juho Ojala, a student of the Helsinki University of Technology.
Are you in some kind of cooperation with Eurolite?
No. I just reverse-engineered the protocol of the sign. And found documentation for parts of the protocol.
Will this work with my Led Sign?

Can using the library break my sign?
The API does not do anything intrusive. It sends the same kind of commands that the software shipping with compatible signs send. So it does not seem likely, but we can’t really know. There is no warranty of any kind.

Are you getting money on the links to shops that sell led signs?
Yes, but it is not much.
Does the library support setting images or controlling individual leds arbitrarily?
No. Though support could be developed. Maybe by you?
Do I still need the Sigma software for something?
The PHP library only covers setting text frames and transitions on the sign. If you for example want to create new fonts or change the signs IP address, you will still need to use the software.
